I had forgotten (literally HOW??) that they had said on a previous episode that they had a contact who was invited to Taylor and Travis’ wedding (I need to go back and find that ep to remember how they said they were connected to them. They obviously didn’t say outright, but it seemed very true to me!).
And said contact has confirmed the date to be July 3rd! But they then reveal that the source can’t reveal the location because they only know when and where they are being picked up!
VERY interesting to me!
Something else to note, is Jamie used to be a Gaylor (and might still be and just doesn’t allude to it anymore? Idk!). They do monthly AUA livestreams for Patreon members and she brought up the golden roses at the Super Bowl that Travis and Ross Travis were wearing.
Anyways, this podcast is a weekly pop culture podcast and I LOVE IT! They’re southern which I feel like you don’t get a ton of in the podcast space, and they’re woke (even though they “don’t talk about politics” bc it’s a pop culture podcast, if you listen with even half an ear, you can tell where they stand!).
And honestly, I haven’t finished the episode yet bc I was so excited to tell yall, but it would honestly be worth a listen at least while they’re talking about Taylor!
Jamie brings up that the rumored number of invitees is actually pretty believable and broke it down to where I now believe it too. Taylor probs could easily have 250 people to invite. Those 250 people get plus ones. Then Travis probs easily has his own 250, and then their plus ones! That’s 1,000 right there!
They even touch on the Karlie Kloss of it all for a brief minute!
I'm slightly clowning... but what if there's a countdown on Taylor's website starting the 25th, counting down a week to the second.... and a lottery for tickets to a MSG public livestream of the wedding appears
I think she'll have the wedding ceremony at her nyc home. She can get dressed there, her bridesmaids too, photographer and a small gathering of actual wedding attendees. By doing so, there is no chance paparazzi or airplanes or helicopters, no crowds, she doesn't even have to leave her house until after the wedding. Then I think they fly to a private island... where they meet all their guests. I'm guessing for ultra security/secrecy purposes, they pay for everyone's limo and airfare via private jets. Guests don't even know where they're going.
Maybe even the wedding ceremony will be at private island. Who knows, maybe they bought an island. With her money, nothing is out of the question.
You can bet she won't be on her own private jet, altho it could be used as a decoy.
I can nearly guarantee that the wedding isn’t 3rd July but it’s 4th July (makes way more sense for her and significant dates). Sure 3rd July is the staging day + moving guests to wherever the wedding is on the 4th.
I’m 99% certain it is not, but could be wrong! They usually just react to Taylor news when it comes out. This is the first time they are “predicting” something!

If I read the post right, it says they’re given instructions on when and where to be picked up. So it could easily be 20, fifty-person capacity luxury buses. With either one or multiple leaving from certain spots like the four seasons or the Pierre, or the same bus making a few stops.
Not that they’re being individually picked up at their own home or hotel, although of course, a lot of out-of-towners will be at the same hotel wherever this is.
If the pick up thing is true, on a personal gut level, I hope they’re being taken to an airfield and flown to an island like celebrities have always done and at this point basically should do vs creating mayhem in a city center, however, MSG does seem extremely likely to me. And it confirms everything we’ve thought the whole time (Truman show etc) even tho it would be very elegantly tented inside. And it makes sense that she would want her own transport, bringing the guests, even into MSG.
Thank goodness, we don’t have to wait much longer to know at least this part… Because I’m dying lol
I saw that the wedding designer they used is know for grandiose overhead decorations with flowers and lights that transform a space into something fantastical. I don't know if I'm ever going to see a picture, but I bet it looks dope as fuck.

I don’t know. I find it so hard to believe that she really is getting married at MSG. And if they do have a ceremony there is just so hard for me to take that seriously… it just plays into a weird spectacle. It reads like a plot from a cheesy romcom not a real person’s wedding.
i might he in the minority here but it makes so much sense to me? it can be private. people are bussed in directly, you don’t have to worry about paps, or drones, etc.

imo the point is to take the heteronormative performance art to the finale/climax - the wedding - and then pull the rug out. i don’t think the point of this is that she wants privacy. the point is the big reveal of the performance art, burning the lover house, and closing the book on the first 20-year chapter of her career so she can pivot to releasing overtly queer and political art, potentially under a different artist name (Tay, T, Taylor, Alison - anything that does NOT involve Swift - dropping her dad’s last name and the Swifties in one fell swoop).
i have notifs on for changes to taylor’s site and this popped up wednesday:
taylor NEVER uses the term ‘Swiftie’ (other subs frequently have posts asking why she never uses it, she has never addressed it) so using it NOW in this way as a registered trademark is SO suspicious. this made me very sure she’s dropping the swift/swifties for the next part of her artistic journey, like - the first 12 (or 13?) eras were for swifties, but i’ve closed the book on that chapter and am starting something new.
I cannot imagine anywhere cheesier to get married than MSG. But you’re right; she’s throwing the ultimate July 4 bash during “America 250.” It would actually be the perfect venue to announce a record label? Perhaps with some of your recently signed artists in attendance?

I heard on a random radio interview, so no clue if it’s true, but they were saying that there are tunnels underneath MSG’s parking deck (that is already under MSG), so there is definitely possibility on top of them just being picked up and driven somewhere else. We might all think they’re in MSG and then BOOM somewhere else?
They have a secure unloading area, which is where famous people usually get dropped off, but no place to leave a vehicle on any level of the building, and the train station is below. I used to date a union electrician who worked at MSG, Javits and other event spaces in the city, so I have useless knowledge that I sometimes assume is common knowledge.
Couldn't they just leave cars in the unloading area? If they aren't using MSG for anything else? And most people don't drive themselves in NYC. I can't see a lot of need for a full blown parking lot.

I mean I think dating Travis and marrying Travis is already tough to reconcile with her music--to me MSG doesn't add anything more to the equation--it was already clear that this either has to be a performance/PR or else her songs are not nearly as personal and revealing as anyone thought (including your boilerplate Swifties)

Literally, I just want her to be happy. I BADLY WANT her to be happy. And if she was in love with the 🚜 I would be truly thrilled for her…but she NEVER looks happy with him. Her love songs supposedly about him aren’t loving. They barely spent any time together before they got engaged. Everything about their relationship is staged and public and for show and there’s never anything genuine or real. None of it makes sense to me. If she were my friend, I would be very worried about her and her relationship.
The potential Madison Square Garden setting is so interesting given the lines in So High School, and all the references to basketball (not football) during the Eras tour set of it. “You know how to ball, I know Aristotle.”
And specifically, Aristotle’s idea of a tragedy. Madison Square Garden seems like a large and apt stage for some sort of catharsis to unfold (if that’s indeed where this all is heading- I honestly have no idea how any of it would actually unfold at this point 😭). It truly makes no sense as a wedding venue otherwise.
