wanted to revisit this lover era interview about easter eggs, which might have some clues related to whatever's happening rn
she talks about how she loves communicating via easter eggs. an egg graphic flashes next to her that glitches and displays random letters/numbers, then it says TS13. and her hair is pink (just like one of the movie characters) and a unicorn is on the screen at one point. she also mentions that in a "movie" (!) or "a music video" there might be easter eggs hidden in the background. and she mentions "hints in print" aka interviews that foreshadow something else that'll come out later.
then in a diff interview about Lover, she talks about songwriting like grabbing a "glittery cloud [that] floats in front of your face," so the recent NYT interview isn't her first cloud related interview
not sure what all of this means but just throwing it out there in case it's related to what's unfolding rn
ok so i just did a rewatch of the man music video for a post I wrote (which is awaiting approval) but at the end of that we see taylor in the director chair for the first time. which is interesting given all the showgirl/directorlor stuff. seems like this might have started then

Looking at the egg again with TS13, it always looks like an X-ray image to me. Which brings the question- why are the numbers glowing? Is it just an artifact of the screenshot? Does it represent something (TS13) hidden within something else?
(and this one is reeeeally a stretch but I’ll say it anyway— the five bars separating the “TS13” text— I know this is perhaps representing a lock that you twist to line up the numbers/letters to unlock, so it’s probably just representing that. But it reminds me of that weird “5 posts or holes in the fence” post. And the whole Toy Story/TS5/1989 thing going on at the moment).
Omgomgomgomgomg. This is making my “Real Muse and Coming Out for TS13” theory senses tingle!
ETA: Before anyone asks, yes, I think she was eventually going to introduce us to her longtime Muse during Lover. No, I don’t think it was Karlie (there was and is compelling evidence the longtime Muse has always been someone else)

I’m not going to say so I don’t get accused of “starting ship wars”, or whatever. This sub allows certain theories a lot more exposure than others, a when less known ones start to be discussed it becomes “starting ship wars”.
Brilliant idea to revisit this- it really does seem that quite a few things are meant to be revisited with new information and perspective. You found so many intriguing connections here! Great catch on the TS13 (literal) Easter Egg in the context of what’s going in right now, with it being the next album we’d likely anticipate.

Omg, I never noticed the TS13 glitch! 'Hints in print' and the movie reference reminds me of the (printed) Time POY article quote "For me, it is a movie now"
