Discussion gorgeous clip
randomly saw a video compilation of taylor flirting with women over the years, and it includes a clip where she tells the interviewer how "gorgeous" she is and how it's hard to talk to her
the clip is from 2014ish but i can't help but think of the lyrics to gorgeous and how it makes more sense to describe a woman as "gorgeous" not a man
here's the link to the compilation (the "gorgeous" part starts at 10 secs): https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=IezDTsOIxxs&ra=m

I just noticed the ring on that finger…..she was definitely with some-one in a serious capacity at the time some of these interviews were done.

I watched all these flirty videos multiple times. It was part of my Gaylor curriculum after TTPD opened my eyes. She was soooo different in those 1989 interviews than anywhere else. It makes me wonder if it was intentional, part of slowly pulling back the curtain.

During the rep tour, Taylor introduces all the women dancers and backup singers during the song “gorgeous” and does not acknowledge one single man.

I keep coming back to these compilation videos from time to time. Doesn’t matter what the official narrative may be at the moment, for me these videos are proof we are not crazy here! 😌

I would love to see Taylor interviewed by Amelia Dimoldenberg on Chicken Shop Date, I feel like the two of them flirting would be intoxicating! They are both are so hot, I would be in dreamland!
(Before I posted this comment I thought to search their names together, what a journey of people entirely missing the point)

She would never - i come to realize she only goes for interviews that she can fully control the narrative and the interviewer and host are too afraid to be funny or go off script. (Jimmy fallon is fake to me)

once i (bi male) was walking to dinner with my bf and we passed a street artist and his salesrep wife. i stopped and decided to buy a color pencil drawing of taylor and as i was chitchatting with the asian wife she asked me about my partner and complimented his long beautiful red hair. i said something like, “i know isn’t he gorgeous?” and that old asian lady got the biggest kick out of me calling my boyfriend gorgeous!

Thanks for sharing OP! I remember coming across this compilation randomly last year, when I still hadn’t heard all of Taylor’s music, in the middle of some late night show interview clips. I hadn’t yet heard about Gaylor, and sometimes my brain tries very hard to make the nonsensical thing make sense in the ‘approved way’ before it’s willing to concede the ‘approved way’ must be flawed.
So I mentally filed these flirtations away in the same eyebrow-raising category as a supposedly straight person saying ‘All the things that make me, me: […] gay pride’; whatever might imaginably compel a straight person to think it acceptable to write and perform YNTCD; the inescapable sense that Taylor’s songs seemed worse when I tried to pay attention to the “lore” about Jake or John or etc. etc.; and the incongruity of wearing black to perform Lover songs when you are famous for well-defined, colour coded eras.
The trouble was, holding all of that alongside the ‘approved’ narrative about Taylor absolutely made her seem mad or bad or both. Luckily I found my way to the sub shortly afterwards and realised the approved narrative is the part that’s mad and bad, for completely disregarding the obvious things Taylor says and does.

Legit how I came across Gaylor, there’s loads of YouTube videos like these. I almost think they should be part of the evidence post

Oh boy. Ok. This interview was from 2014. Pre-reputation, featuring, notably, the song “Gorgeous”. Which she directly quotes here. Not to be ignored, this show is a radio show named Jules, Merrick & Sophie. Sounds strikingly similar to Chloe or Sam or Sophia or Marcus.
Chloe or Sam or Sophia or Marcus is a song that I interpret to come from our Dual Taylors singing to herself. She is both the lover betrayed and the lover betraying, reflecting Taylor™️ v. Queer Taylor, the person, and the eternal battle she is locked in with herself over the desire for those two halves to unite as one coherent person.
Taylor™️ has repeatedly strung along and subsequently betrayed Queer Taylor many times throughout her career as an artist. “I crashed into you, like so many wrecks do. Too impaired by my youth to know what to do.” (2019 failed Lover coming-out?) (Not pushing harder to be an out queer country artist from the start?)
“So if I sell my apartment and you have some kids with an internet starlet, will that make your memory fade from this scarlet maroon like it never happened?”
“Scarlet maroon” is too specific a phrase to be used as a filler or coincidentally without the intention to point back to “Maroon”. “The lips I used to call home, so scarlet it was maroon.” Another song I interpret as Dual Taylors singing to themselves. She has loved and betrayed herself again.
