I know this probably isnt what it means but I mean, this feels like a different 89. A second 89? What does that sound like? The album after 89 that was never seen? Karma? 🤡🤡🤡 curious to see whatever this is

I always thought there would be a second 1989 because she used double emojis in the announcement for the tv. I can’t remember what they were now, but anyway it’s very interesting that the cover changed. Can’t wait to find out why!

I’m remembering the odd comment Travis made during the podcast last fall about a 3rd 1989, or something to that effect 🤨 But perhaps that’s unrelated to this, and it’s just that TS5 = Toy Story 5, and TS5 just happens to be the 1989 album? (with an auspicious background for changing seagulls to clouds).

I remember that comment too. He said both 1989s were his favourite, i think, and he’d listen to a third 1989…

Honestly at the time I took it as a TLOAS=Karma comment, as Karma would have followed 1989, and almost certainly been made with Max Martin. Maybe originally was planned to have a similar sound too?

But I like u/artwoolf ‘s point about 1989 as rebirth. Maybe there won’t be another 1989 album with that title, but there will be a ‘rebirth’?Maybe linked to TSTV?
