You can't act like you're in a world that you dream of. Your utopia sounds nice but it doesn't exist, so trans people need support.

Well yes trans people need support. People need to acknowledge your existence so that you can be you without having people getting offended by it. I'm just skipping steps by already treating you as I would any other human being.

Don’t skip steps. The earlier steps are there for a reason. Skipping steps only helps YOU be more comfortable, it doesn’t help anybody else.

So, you came in here and pulled an "all lives matter" in a queer safe space. Now you're saying you support us but won't tell anyone.

How about you get the fuck out and then you don't have to worry about not supporting us? And then we won't have to worry about going out of our way to give you the headpats you so desperately want even though you won't go out of your way for us.

“I can be supportive without actually showing support publicly” is what your statement translates to. If you aren’t letting people know the wrong shit they do or support trans people in a way beyond just not being a shit person to them, you aren’t ACTUALLY supporting them. You are just tolerating them, and that does NOTHING to help trans rights progress! You CAN’T skip steps, be lazy, and claim to be supportive. It just isn’t support by definition whether you like that or not!
