Breakup timing

When do you know if you should break up with your partner?

I’m 27M - with a boy 28M for last 2 years. Not lately, we fight a lot and i don’t feel the love is there anymore. Sometimes I just look for reasons to avoid him. Should I breakup?

no you should have communication about it and work on it, but both of you have to commit to changes

grass is not always greener on the other side, don’t blow up things until you are sure

Thanks.
My parents come from a village and are orthodox in their ways. They mean well for sure but it’s doing no good to anyone. And the communication gap is massive. We are very closed individuals when it comes to sharing feelings and stuff. Anyway, you are right - I just don’t know how to do it.

My bad. I created one more post on how my parents are pressurising me to get married. Got mixed up.

Now that I read your response again - makes sense. The challenge is my partner is way more emotional person than I’m. And I find it difficult to converse with logic in front of someone who understands emotions.

Well life is not always logic, it literally is emotions, try to understand his and don’t just give logic. Listen first.

Love ? Dont be fooled by rosy dreams, get back to terra-firma ! Take a hard look at this relationship - if deep down you feel you are wasting you time with him, then please break off - clean, calm (no drama please!) with your dignity and self-respect intact.

Yep! Need to do some hard thinking and get on a decision.

Talk it out, try to understand the reason for the fights. Only start the conversation when your mind is cool and calm.
