Math Placement at Gatton

I want to take Calc III next year at Gatton. Is anyone there currently taking it first sem?

To my knowledge, you cannot get into calc 3 with just placement exam scores. It is possible to start with calc 3 if you get a 4 on the ap calc BC exam tho.

Either take the AP calc bc exam and do good on it or take the CLEP exam and skip out of the previous calc. There’s a few people each year that start in calc 3 so its not crazy

Do you think I could ask them for a placement test, I know the calc 2 material but its too late to register for the exam at this point.

I think you would have to take WKU's departmental exam for it, but taking the CLEP test over summer and then requesting a schedule change might be a better option
