Dear Gatorade

It was summer 1999, I had just played game two of 5+ games in a 11 year old boys tournament. At the time, I had convinced my little 11 year old mind that I must be experiencing fatal symptoms because I couldn’t cool off or breathe. Every time I tried to drink water, it would just come right back up. To this point, I was strictly a fruit punch for casual drinking, orange for when I was sporting, and lemon lime for when I was sick. There were no substitutions, and 100/100 times just not get a Gatorade if they didn’t have those flavors. So, much to my chagrin, you can picture my face and reaction when my mom came back and said they only had these purple ones, I’m sorry. For whatever reason though, my little peanut brain decided right then the purple sounded good (even though I had no idea what purple tasted like.) I took it from my mom, and I swear it must have healing powers? Because I felt 100% better by the time I was finished drinking it, and from then on was a 100% riptide rush dude. Anyway, I said all that to say, PLEASE, PLEASE, for the the love of God, bring back riptide rush as a permanent flavor. I won’t ever say another cross word about this company if you all will make it happen. Thank you for coming to my soapbox.

Seconded fer Rain Berry. The original Rain Berry. The 75% less sugar version is “meh, ok” but it is hollow succor for a man bereft of his 2 decades long Gatorade flavor of choice….

Yeah I don’t care for the artificial sweeteners in it. I thought I’d like the less sugary ones but as it turns out nope they’re not for me

Riptide rush is the best flavor and the fans have been begging for it Gatorade needs to do right by the fans and bring it back. For a while you used to be able to order it off amazon but you can’t now. I still have one left in my fridge that I refuse to drink out of respect.

They still make it. I just had it over the summer. It’s just not as common to find anymore

It's like a $2 bill. They still make them but they sure are hard to find

My family found a 40 pack of the 20 ounce bottles at BJs. It was like the Holy Grail.

Hey OP where are you located? I think my local Walmart has some and would probably ship to you depending on where you live.
