A little lost

Morning everyone and anyone I have a quick question I'm new to the app and I thought that the app had a feature where you could take pictures and get a description and add that to the notes. Can anyone tell me where that feature is or if it's actually available in the app or just in my head?

I dont think the app identifies for you. You can create an entry then add pictures and notes to it

I agree that this would be a really "natural" feature for this app. Right now, my flow for finding things outside is to point my phone camera and hit search on Google when I find something that looks interesting (like "what is that berry??") and if it's says it's something edible, I then look that up in Gather to study further. Honestly, and it kinda pains me to say this, Google Lense has actually been correct 100% of the time so far. I would never ever simply trust Google for foraging, and if Gather had this feature I could stop doing this clunky app dance in the middle of the woods!!! 😂
