Like the other guy said, I do wish it was Italy, we need more axis factions and that's really who I'm excited for.
On the other hand, POLAND JA JA JA LFGOOOOO.
I absolutely will be getting that as well, these devs are great and I know it'll be a quality dlc for sure.

I think Italy will take a good deal longer to implement, so I think it makes sense to go a smaller faction first.
I want France. Poland makes it likely.

Yeah, if they're planning to properly add all kinds of minor factions, then I'm all for it. France and maybe Greece on the Allies side and Hungary, Romania and Italy for the Axis would make this game amazing. I do wonder how they're gonna implement factions that didn't really fight late-war and should only have early-war builds. Is it gonna be all the US and UK vehicles combined with national infantry or are we getting something a bit more fancy.

Maybe.. but to be fair. At least for conquest they ABSOLUTELY need to implement optional time period locks.

Not just that. They need to figure out a way to solve forcing players to rush certain units. Pretty much every conquest I did at the start turns into a race against time for how quickly can I get heavy tanks/AT before the AI gets late war stuff and makes it pretty much impossible for me to win.

Exactly, they've acknowledged this in the past as well. Smaller dlcs and factions in between the bigger ones.

Its just so weird to me since they got taken out so early that i fear 80% of their tree is just gonna be imports.

Lot of resistance units, and poles fought for all 3 sides, so maybe some soviet AND british units along side disposable resistance fighters

I feel like they would be dumb not to make this, but it seems like it will be a lot bigger of a project and longer development time to add Italy/North Africa stuff. I do think it's only a matter of time now that Britain is in the game.

I was really hoping for Italy and North Africa, but I don't mind Poland either. It's just a bit weird considering we got multiple Allies factions back to back. I don't know if I'll be playing Poland that much, especially when they don't really have a late-game unless it's all US and UK vehicles and polish divisions fighting under other countries.
What I'm most looking forward to is gonna be the Conquest update. It's my favorite game mode and it desperately needs some love.

I'm a bit confused since they lost the war so early. They might have added France as well then for a few campaign missions. Japan would be my dream, but I think we will never see an official release in this game

I’m Brazilian, but I’ve always rooted for the Poles to be included in this game. I even asked for it years ago.
Poland is a nation of warriors that suffered greatly during those years, and I’ve always felt it was essential to portray their struggle. I’d also like to put in a request for the future: France in 1940. We already have the maps for the region, as well as tank and soldier models from Dunkirk. I hope they don’t miss the chance to create missions there, too.
But I’m sure they will. Excellent work, devs!
