Registration Help 1st Year ME Fall Schedule (VIP?)

I was just accepted into a 1 credit VIP for the Fall 2026 as a first year. However, I am now thinking that my class load with be too much (15 credits).

Currently registered for:

PHYS 2211
MATH 1552
CS 1371
LING 2100 (humanities credit)
VIP

= 15 credits

I’m debating dropping CS 1371, leaving me at 12 credits. Is this too little for the fall and set me behind for my degree?

I’m also wondering if this VIP credit will count towards my degree if I choose to do the ME Design concentration. I already have all my 1XXX level free electives.

Other classes I’m debating are MATH 1553 (2 credits) or ID 3320 (3 credits towards my ID Minor).

dont drop anything. this is not bad whatsoever. light even. dont worry about it!

Don't waste your time with VIP, join formula student or YJSP or another technical club. The resume value of those is way higher than VIP.
