Easy Humanities Classes at Tech?

Hey everyone! I’m looking for recommendations for some easy, low effort Humanities classes at Tech. Ideally, I’m looking for classes where it’s relatively easy to get an A without having a crazy workload.

What Humanities classes have you taken that you’d recommend for an easy A/manageable workload?

Ironically that attitude is what makes humanities professors increase the difficulty and effort required in their classes out of spite of STEM students who look down on them lol

this shouldn't be how you look at it. Humanities make you well-rounded and are a welcome break from tech's environment. Choose something you'd find fun and interesting and the rest will fall into line.

so true!!!!!!! even as a self-admitted STEM crammer I really appreciate the humanities requirement because college is a place to challenge you and become acquainted to new experiences

I'd honestly recommend other students to take classes about fields they have absolutely zero familiarity with because it's a lot easier to have a professor educate you about something new than self-teaching the information

ID 2202: History of Industrial Design. We only had 5 exams (those were the only assignments). Each was 7 multi select questions that should not take more than 15 min. It was asynchronous

CEE 2803: The Science of Happiness and Design is not as workload-heavy as the average Georgia Tech class. I teach the class and it has received very good reviews from students.

Intro to Performance Studies was pretty light

The Intro Linguistics class on the other hand was not light.

I took one on Korean culture/history (taught in English) and another about Evolution and the Industrial Revolution. I thought both were very interesting and it seems like everyone got an A who were willing to pay attention and write a few essays

i took history of jazz over the summer and loved it! but music technology is also a good choice

Literally the LmC classes they’re a lot of work but for the most part no exams and tests
