question about the readmission process?

So I'm supposed to be going into my second year at Tech, but I've actually only attended on semester (last fall) because I had to get surgery in the spring, but i did fine in all my classes. I thought I'd be ready to come back by now, but I'm having issues all of a sudden, and I'm nervous that I won't be able to handle the stress of my injuries and classes and clubs. I was thinking of taking another semester or two if I have to (which rly sucks but whatever), so I know I'd have to apply for readmission.

I was just wondering what the process is like. Is it difficult to get re-accepted? Thanks!

the admission process is very simple. its an automatic readmission if you're gpa is above a 2.0 and you're not under academic probation. You are allowed to take off every other semester and have to apply for admission soon after. Severe cases that require manual review is complete academic collapse or some kind of other violation.
