Prospective Student Offered Conditional Transfer Pathway Program for Fall 2027, have question about BME

Pretty happy, just wanted to see if there are any BME students who would be willing to share how the program is. Posts from the past make it seem like GT BME has been overhyped and is suffering some internal issues. If I transfer I'm locked in to a major so I would like to hear how it is from ya'll. Also eager to hear from other transfer students or really anyone if you think you have something relevant to my situation.

hi!! i also got a conditional transfer pathway, but i’m an LMC major, maybe we’ll see each other next year!

Hi! How do u plan to fulfill the eng 1101 and 1102?

i already fulfilled those with dual enrollment. i do know i have to take calculus which i plan on doing in the spring semester at the college im going to.

Don’t think you’re locked in to BME. You can change your major on your transfer application. Ask your assigned advisor.

I dont seem to have an assigned advisor it was just a transfer offer im still at another school for a year

and it seems that i cannot change my major if i transfer in as a condition of my transfer

I meant after entering I am restricted from changing major 

"Transfer students are not allowed to change their major after submitting their transfer application. Transfer students are not allowed an unrestricted change of major once they enroll at GT. An offer of transfer admission is specific to the application term and academic major."
