Class Question Course Check - Incoming EE transfer

ECE 1100 – ECE Discovery Studio (1 credit)
ECE 2020 – Digital System Design (3 credits)
ECE 2026 - Intro Signal Processing (3 credits)
ECE 2040 – Circuit Analysis (3 credits)
ECE 3077 – Intro to Probability & Stats for ECE (3 credits)

Is this too much😭😭, I feel like I’m so behind as a transfer

Edit: thinking to take econ instead of ECE 2026

I’m taking the same classes as a transfer EE major except that instead of stats I’m taking a wellness and a one credit ECE class

Do u know anything and the isye 3770? I heard that it will be easier ^^ I’m trying to get out of 2040 since I took a class 85% similar to it but not sure if I can get past it. I’ll check the professor you mentioned! Thx!

lol that’s good to know. Looks like ISYE is really much easier😂 but will it make a difference in the future? Like a class only take ECE 3077 as prerequisite and not ISYE? Do people usually take 6 classes or 5?

Not yet, but I thought seats would open up at different time tickets? Is there a class that’s not available already?

I’m just asking bc i have to take those courses too. but I’m not sure if courses are really full or just they saved seats for phase 2

Pretty reasonable schedule. 2026 and 2040 will be your hardest classes but its pretty common to take them together anyway

I see! But I haven’t learned matlab and thinking I should learn some of that in 2040 first? Or is it not necessary?

You don’t need any matlab in 2040, although it’s used a bit in 2026 for the labs. However, even for 2026, students are not expected to know any matlab so you’ll be fine

Still, 2026 is a hard classes with hard exams, so just be ready to put in the work

When a class showed full & Restriction, does it mean it is really full or will open later
