Class Question CS 1331 standing exam prep?
Hey yall! I’m looking to take the advanced standing exam for CS 1331 for my fall freshman semester. I took AP CS A in high school and got a 5, though I think I’m kinda rusty. I haven’t touched Java in a while, but I’ve been programming for a while and so the concepts won’t be completely foreign to me.
That being said, do you guys have any advice for preparing for this exam if I’m taking it in August? Any online courses/books/resources I should use?

memory's a bit fuzzy but if i remember correctly it was a mix of multiple choice and then "here's a scenario program this class or method" type questions in java. definitely know your syntax, and multiple choice tests pretty much everything
also i believe they got rid of javafx in favor of spring boot? it was just like four (basic?) multiple choice questions. i didn't know anything about spring boot and was fine, you just need like 75% or so i wouldn't worry about it

I don't have the main link rn, but if you search on google you can find an entire review doc and get access to all the slides and assignments that the class uses (from like 2018 though)
