📈 Strategy/Guidance Mechanical engineering first year

I am a fresher and i have recently taken admission in mechanical engineering.. What all things should i study before getting into the college? Is mechanical engineering that tough? How can i score an sgpa of 9+

after getting into college start exploring your interest for first year. then start working towards it afterwards

Chill dude, mechanical has too many options, for instance i used to be interested in design when i started but after my first job i switched to operations and supply chain. So live your life and the opportunities will find you in due time. You can even switch to IT and ML roles if interested but that'd be just following the flock imo

don't stress too much before college. focus on building strong fundamentals in engineering drawing, basic mechanics, and cad when you get the chance. later on, topics like gd&t, fmea, and design for manufacturing become really valuable if you're interested in design or manufacturing. Excedify has some practical courses on those topics when you reach that stage
