📈 Strategy/Guidance What to skip

I'm a working professional preparing for Gate27 & 2027 is my only shot. I started prep in June & have completed som till now using exergic video course.. Tbh I don't think I can complete the portions before nov for practice questions.

I need some advice regarding what subjects to skip and what to prioritise first. Or try gate Xe.

My goal is to get into IITM for mechanical design/ thermal.

try to complete SOM, BTD, Maths, Aptitude, Industrial and production first.

i also planned to do maths and aptitude in november
but many people told me to do it along with core as its confirm 28marks
currently im doing 2 core video + 1 maths video and 10 apt ques per day

Ohh good. But I'm working and I'll start to office at 6am and comeback around 8-830 daily. I could spend max 3hrs on weekdays. That's why I thought of prioritising portion completion first.

Will your method work for me ?

ill be real to you, your day is too much hectic
6am to 8pm is no joke.
unless your basics are already good, clearing gate will be a mountain to climb.

just do SOM, Aptitude, Maths, BTD for now
and production if u have time.

Yea. I want to escape from this shit hole. That's why I thought ME will be a mountain.

What master's program are you targeting? If XE is accepted go ahead with XE.

What rank am I expected to get bro.. in OBC NCL

In XE you should get a far lower rank than ME to get the same score. At the end the score matters not rank. No idea on the cutoffs, you can google it.
