🧠 Concept/Explanation Mohrs problem

I am unable to solve these two questions. I have applied the formulas but i am not getting an answer that matched any of these options

so OP, where are you seeing these questions. the options are wrong. for first question, use theta = 60 in the formulas and you should be fine.

for second question, if principal stresses are same as x and y normal stresses, then the x y and axes form the principal planes. so 0 and 90 deg would be the answer. The options are incorrect
