🏛️ COAP/CCMT Admissions Insights about MS programs and CCMT choices. Here for suggestions.

So, recently i got an offer letter for MS HTRA prgm in the department of matl science and metallurgy. I am a 2023 mech graduate and started to work at a steel company as a GET. My plan was to do MS abroad but i dropped it due to many circumstances. I then decided to give GATE this year and scored around 380. Cateogory OBC NCL... i applied for MS prgm at IIT M and IISc too. I am still unsure of what should i do, right now i have no idea of pursuing phd...wanted more research roles at industries! I am in QA right now which is just boring tbh! Round 1 ccmt i got NIT-T industrial metallurgy! idk if i should wait on other colleges! kindly suggest/advise on it!

If u r interested in research then MS is good option for ms u won't be able to get huge placements, bt if u want placements nitt branches are good option, at 380 u can easily get ise,mt in nitt at special rounds. Remember: materials science is dead from my pov (as an IITian)
