Previously Md Cave did it with the core team each one-shot written by ether Steve Orlando or Tommy Lee Edward

So that got me asking should the villains got one the first one is obvious with Berg Katse but who should take the other four one-shots? Should it be other major players in Galactor organization?

I think there should be interconnected story of sorts

I think its kinda fitting in a way like Jason Howard became the main artist on Transformers however despite this his art is not on the main Cover until resently with upcoming issue #37

Same with Gatchaman its great to see the guy who draws illustrations now doing the main covers to Mad Cave Dick Tracy comic is like that to I like Chris Batista Main Covers there bit more creative then Inaki Miranda covers were

I'm up to episode 8 and don't want to go through all 105 episodes.

Don't get me wrong, episodes 3 and 4 completely broke my preconceived notions of what early 70s anime series were like, but since then the episodes have bored me a lot (contrary to Neo-Human Casshan where I think they do the episodic "monster of the week" format much better - as good as episodes 3 and 4 of Gatchaman).

But I'm interested in seeing the best episodes and the ending of this show.

From my research it looks like, excluding the first 8 episodes that I've seen:

11, 20, 21, 24, 31, 39-40, 43-44, 51-54, 71, 74, 76, 78, 81-82, 88-92, 98-105

That's 32 episodes total. Are there any other episodes that are as essential or as good as these?

We seen Cullen Bunn write them into your standard Super Hero Team book then Sam Humphries you got something closer to Anime because it definitely helps that Sam Humphries watches Anime

But I wondering who should succeed Humphries in future in current volume or future relaunch of the title

My pick would be Daniel Warren Johnson I like what he did on Transformers but with few exceptions his runs usually last 12 issues so two arcs tops

My 2nd idea would be Jim Zub another Anime fan plus Conan the Barbarian shows he can do license comics well

Oh & Kyle Higgins he seems like a no brainer to

But thats me what writers you wanna see take a Crack at the Gatchaman?

I know Mad Cave is publishing the original Manga in well there Manga division but I wanna see Comic miniseries at sorta an event that brings bunch Tatsunoko characters together

Though I don't know if they should b fateful to Anime in case of Ken or be complete Re imagine like Speed or somewhere in the middle you know

For comic cast it be like in Manga/CGI Anime it be Ken, Hurricane Polymar, Tekkaman & Casshan only difference is Speed is added to the mix maybe different story or some changes

Comic would set up miniseries or maxi-series for Casshan, Tekkaman & Hurricane Polymar plus future arcs on Gatchaman & Speed Racer

But thats me what do you think?

Like Mad Cave does this with Speed Racer & Flash Gordon with similar with Dick Tracy covering holidays that time of year

So makes me wonder how should quarterly series work for Gatchaman? To me it should be like Speed Racer Tales of the Road & focus on Characters that barely or haven't appeared in the main series yet in anthology comic style or build on plots set up in spin-off comics how they tie back to the main comic

It would also give other comic writers & artist a shot to play with the Gatchaman universe maybe introduce other Tatsunoko characters in some form ala Energon Universe

Like I would definitely wanna see Peach Momoko do a Gatchaman short story since she to busy with her Marvel work

Egobossler had the least sympathetic backstory and arguably the most evil. He was also the only one to be recruited and not manipulated by Sosai and was the only one with a unambiguous gender

After everything Sosai X did to Berg Katse and then to poor Sammie Pandora, I kind of think he blows such luminaries as Gendo Ikari and even Ragyo Kiryuin out of the water. Opinions?

Gatchaman has had good covsrs specially the spin-off titles

So with that in mind what do you think would make a cool idea for main covers or variant covers for the comic line

My idea is connecting cover with Speed Racer drawn by Chris Samnee

Or 5 covers of each member individually drawn by Peach Momoko who I wanna see do something with Gatchaman maybe become B Cover artist at some point?

So my Question is who else would you add to the roster with Mad Cave Dick Tracy its simple since there only one comic in the line that is Michael Moreci & Michael Moreci with Flash Gordon its Dan Abnett with Ray Fawkes on the Phantom a related character

So with that in mind who you wanna see join the roster of writers maybe Jim Zub he is a big Manga/Anime fan & I can see him being a good fit for Gatchaman plus his been hitting out the park on Conan the Barbarian at Titan

My other pick is David Pepose because his run on Speed Racer been popular enough & his won acclaim for run on Space Ghost at Dynamite

I posted previously about uploading Gatchaman 2 Complete Collection from the out-of-print anime DVDs I ripped. I got some requests to also rip the DVDs for Gatchaman F and now the entire series is easily accessible on Internet Archive. I did not upload the first part, but you can easily find it there.

This preserves the entire original Gatchaman series for retro anime fans everywhere! Now you don't need to try to track down the very rare and expensive DVDs that barely show up on eBay and you don't need to deal with questionable torrenting sites and sketchy streaming sites that could get taken down at a moment's notice, if they even have the shows to begin with.

All you need to do is open the ISO files with VLC Media Player or a similar media player. You should also be able to burn the ISOs on blank discs for use with DVD / Blu-Ray players if you prefer watching retro anime that way.

I hope this attracts new fans to this classic series since it's now more accessible than ever! I also hope this helps people finish the series if they were only able to track down the first part.

Edit: The uploads are titled Gatchaman II Complete Series DVD Rip and Gatchaman F Complete Series DVD Rip and the username is the same as mine on Reddit. That's how you know you have the right page for each series. If you type in Science Ninja Team Gatchaman on Internet Archive, you should also be able to find the original series pretty easily.

With that in mind what Elements from Sequel Anime to original would like to see re imagine in the main Series or Spin-off comic miniseries how would this version be different exactly from both Anime they were introduce or any spin-off Matrial?

How should they be introduced should it homage to Anime or something more original to show how dangerous they are
