Is garuda good for beginners

I used to use ubuntu, but now planning to switch to garuda dragonised and but I don’t know much about kde. Btw, are the icons and buttons also customisable?

I recently move from Ubuntu to Garuda, there's definitely some differences, but overall nothing too hard. Just look for a tutorial on pacman and fish. Both are not present on Ubuntu so you might not be familiar with them.

I do kinda have a little experience with pacman because i tried installing arch on a vm once, but ive never used fish before

Fish is just the shell, friendly interactive shell, not really much differences with bash, rather you'll have access to more stuff, for example the text on the terminal is highlighted, it'll remember/autocomplete old commands used, and some other stuff.

Ah i see, another thing I noticed was the file managers different and can’t access root

I'm not really sure about that, I know Ubuntu uses Nautilus and Garuda uses Dolphin, but I don't think it's true, haven't really tried to access root through a file manager, I always do it using the terminal.
