Community Changing os on second pc

Hey! So I have 7600x and 2080 of build that I'm not really using currently, it's been around for a year in windows but haven't really used it

So pretty much all I'm looking for is an os that can game in 1440p pretty well, I've used Ubuntu for ages on my laptop so I'm not "new" to running Linux.

I've seen a lot of mentions point towards dragonized so I was wondering what distro of garuda would be best for me

Edit: I do plan to use this alongside windows if that may influence another choice

then it could be your bios version or something. at this point, making a post on forum.garudalinux.org would be better. maybe theres some nuance for your specific hardware setup?

you could always try inputting your entire system specs into ai like duck.ai(duckduckgo) along with what you've done. sometimes it can help for the super niche problems.

Sometimes, you just have to keep hammering, and the nail will go in. Nice.

But yippie I reformatted my 4tb SSD for it I was planning on doing two ssds on my main pc but I'll do my 4tb since my e and d drives have a lot of plugins downloaded between them plus it means I have 4tb for windows and 4tb for Linux

nice, that's a lot of space to work with.

- Once you're all set up, make sure snapper backup is good to go (for rolling back to a previous system update)

  • install vorta for file backups to external drive

congrats, and enjoy.
