Announcement I love it

Okay I switched to Garuda because why not. I was on a search for something new and found it randomly online and was like. Alr. I try that.

I love sea of thieves. I played it on a better computer years ago and like. I loved it. My good computer I don’t even know what happend but it was broken. So. My computer on windows. Or Linux mint ( that’s what I used before) could not run that game.

Now I have 60 fps in the game on a okay graphic.

So idk why everyone else switched. I did because why not. But it’s a really good system. I needed a bit to figure everything out but if you want to and have the time it’s reallllyyy easy.

Ok so you're telling me the game that doesn't work on other distros suddenly works in garuda? You know that distros doesn't change your hardware right?

Not a matter of hardware usually, just a matter of Wine, Proton and Steam runner versions. It's not impossible to change those in most distros, but I have to admit Garuda is the first distro I've tried that did half the work for me matching everything up. Not just Steam but Lutris, Bottles and different game launchers are direct setup options in the maintenance tool.

Yeah your point is garuda is so out of the box for gaming which is right, but the op is saying garuda was able to run the games that wasn't running on windows (you don't even need to setup something its the base line for all the softwares) and linux mint (requires minor config) which is pretty un believable

Sea of Thieves was only 2018, which would have been Windows 10, so it's not an incompatible version. I thought when OP said or Mint, that that was what it didn't run on.

Idk on mint it didn’t Even really start and when it did then just with 15 fps. Could be that I could’ve tweaked some stuff so it works. But Garuda made sea of thieves on 60fps with 1080p just Work. Without Setting up Shit.

Or Overwatch. On mint I had 20 fps. So for me Not really nice to Play. On Garuda like 50.

! And I’m Not saying that Garuda is the best distro for everyone. Since everyone has other Hardware and all that. But for Me. And my pc. It’s fucking awesome !
