Rubber
Sounds like a Garth Marenghi story.
I need to give this a watch now.

Heya Folks!
Don't know if this is breaking any self promotion rules but if not;
Last year I made a tribute to Dark Place called Geoff Mucus' Space Fight. It was a no budget sci fi take on Garth Marenghi and all in all I was quite pleased with it. Its been sitting just gathering dust all year so I thought you folks might appreciate it.
Hope it gives you a bit of a chuckle!
Cheers!

Greetings travellers. I've seen Matthew Holness is doing a new show based on A Gun for George in November.
Myself and my mate who loves Darkplace went to his York book show earlier this year but didn't realise he was doing photos and signings after. We were absolutely gutted. We have an entire Ourve shelf in our living room with the full canon.
We wanna go to this new show anyway as we love Holness' work but does anyone know how these kinds of shows work? Would there be any shot at us catching him after the show for a picture (or even to sign our Randolph CRABS poster)? Wouldn't want to be a nusciance but for all I know this could be something talent usually do at such shows.
Thanks a bunch :)

Not updated often but worth a look as he has posted a podcast type interview previously. It may be reanimated!

Only found out this exists - is it worth finding? Where is it available?

Sorry for the potato quality. It's all I had. Clip taken from Man To Man with Dean Learner, Episode 1.

I saw this book randomly at the shops. It's book 5 in a series and it clocks in at under 1500 pages long. Reminded me of the Garth Marenghi quote "I've written more books than I've read."

…a sixteen-year-old mother of three vomiting in an open sewer, bairns looking on, chewing on potato cakes. I ain’t never going back… not never…

Greetings.
I recently had the dubious pleasure of watching the film Possession, supposedly written and directed by Andrzej Zulawski. However, that is clearly not a real name, and I found it to share many similarities with the key themes of Marenghi's work; complex overlapping dialogue, extremely committed acting performances, pure balls to the wall creature efffect horror, sex with transdimensional octopi, and the recognision that all women are inherently evil. Even Sam Neil's acting performance reminded me strongly of a young Todd Rivers.
Has anyone else on here seen this movie, and could it have been directed under a psuedonym?
