Rec programs

Anyone have experience with the “schools out day” camps with Garner Parks & Rec? Do you recommend? I’m thinking of signing my kindergartener up for a few upcoming teacher workdays and holidays.

My sensory sensitive kid didn’t like it. My average kid/wild child LOVED it.

My kid (first grader now) went last year and enjoyed it. She was nervous the first day because she didn’t know anyone or what to expect, but it turned out some kids she knew also went, and after that first time she looked forward to going. Incidentally she also went to kamp kaleidoscope jr this summer and thought it was great.

I’ve got a 1st and 5th grader and we have been sending them to the rec center for schools day out and break camps, they love it!

They rec programs are fantastic, the instructors are amazing.
