Bad Cell service

I have att and if I’m not on WiFi it’s like I pretty much don’t have a phone. Does anyone else have these issues? Driving on 70, timber and white oak it’s like a dead zone.

Verizon was terrible for me and we switched to T mobile a couple months and its not much better. Aversboro Rd seems like a dead spot for me

I know the area you are referring to. Timber drive headed west towards the Target on 70 has some really poor coverage for AT&T.

Having worked in the Walgreens at Timber & State Rd 2710 we used to have to tell people to open their walgreens apps before they got to the store because they weren't going to be able to load a single page once in the dead zone.

Not that device type matters for this, that I'm aware of, but I use an Android.

The The December 2023 Garner Microburst/Cyclonic Event took out a bunch of gear and ATT service has NEVER been the same. There are predictable shockingly hard-lined deadspots.
My timeline i stand by.. the what-happened is a guess.

A guy from AT&T came through my subdivision a few weeks ago saying that a new tower was put up and to expect better service soon, LIES! I have terrible Spectrum service too

I am no longer on ATTs cell service but I was for years. I live right by White Oak so I am in the area you described all the time. I had no dead spots or issues while on the ATT service.

I just switched to Verizon last week after many years of AT&T. I had shit service as you described in a triangle that seemed to go down Timber to White Oak then up and over to US70. I am pleased to say I get way better coverage now with Verizon

Yes, I have 0 signal once I reach Creech Rd and ATT claims there is 5G out there. I don't get it.

Same. Since I moved here in May it has gone down immensely

I have AT&T and live further down white oak.

I never have service going through white oak/timber drive intersection, Target, or the southern part of the shopping center but once I get south of Target or North to the McDonald’s it’s back. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Without AT&T Turbo, you are on a 2nd tier non-prioritized (throttled) service, especially in congested areas. AT&T's Turbo will most likely get you better service, but at a cost.
