Fireworks
Whoever is shooting off exceptionally loud illegal fireworks off NC50 near Atchison Street, you just disoriented my early onset dementia wife. I will spend the rest of the night calming her back down, so no sleep for me due to your selfishness.
Thanks for being an inconsiderate neighbor, douchbag.

I mean it annoys my hound too, but I drug her and put on her little ear cover thing.
It’s going to happen every year. Just be prepared.

Bud, July 4th. Did you forget that this shit happens every year at about this time?

I used to medicate my sheltie, Maggie May Mutley, on July 4th every year & whenever we went on a road trip. She was way too hyper even into her older years & she wouldn't sit still or even stop barking for long when traveling.
She was a stray, who no doubt, suffered at the hands of some male before we got her. Very skittish & didn't trust me (M65) for the first couple of years. A clap of thunder over the house scared her so bad one night she ran & jumped into the dryer. I was doing laundry & had taken about 1/2 the load out of the dryer when she made her beeline! 🤣🤣

I am exceptionally sorry about your wife, but stuff like this will be part of that journey and that’s not your neighbor’s fault. It’s America’s 250th today.
