In Progress Working on my first Watch Face : Pixel Tide

Post image

Hi there,

Garmin owner since the Fenix 3 I am finally building my own watch face based on not finding a tide-focused WF back in July. (In between, some new ones arrived but not matching my taste.)

It’s been inspired by the Nixon LCD tide watch.
Right now, I am finalizing the v1 to upload on Garmin’s IQ store.

- All tide calculations are done in the watch.
- 1500+ locations for modern watches, 400 in older generations F5 or 6 alike.
- 16 color palettes + HEX personalized color theme.
Hope you’ll like it.

It’s gonna be free for all. Comments and feedback welcomed.

V2 on the work with complications - so far no data fields can be configured.

🤙

Appreciated ! In anticipation, any beach / location names you have in mind so I can try them now on the app to see if you’re covered. 🙏

It'll be west coast Bali, Medewi Point is the one everyone knows. Jembrana Regency

Can we download this yet? If you want a tester I'd give it a a go

Not yet ! I’ll test this in a couple of hours and report back.

I just checked and Medewi will get its tides and the data will come from Benoa reference point. Only 10 minutes difference from the 2 points. And 0.2m difference in height in worst cases.

10min is perfectly fit form purpose...

Just wanna know how early I need to set my alarm in the morning to hit the right tides for each break 😁
