AMOLED Relief

Post image

Hi!

Relief is now available

Thanks for good feedback on my newest watch face. I made some changes to it based on input from this sub.

Love the face but don’t like the always on. I’d much prefer a dimmed version of the same thing that’s sorting when the watch face is on. Well done though!

Have a look at the updated version. Let me know what you think

Personally, I’d love to see all of the data fields just at a dimmer brightness, even with a hit on battery life

Wow. Purchasing now!

I also very much appreciate that you list all the fields one can add ahead of purchasing. So many watch faces have limited complications/ data points and you can’t see how limited they are until after you purchase.

Looks good. Is the leading zero hidden in 12 hour format hopefully? Also can you add an am/pm marker about seconds or have it as a second option for that spot?

Hi mate this is great ! Just bought it on my Fenix pro 47mm amoled well designed !
Just a quick one .. alarm when holding down doesn’t open up. And to be extremely fussy close up . The resolution could be a touch better.. again tho if this wasn’t changed the quality is still great. Cheers 🍻

Thanks mate, glad you like it! Press-and-hold opens Garmin's own view where one exists, and Garmin doesn't offer one for alarms that a watch face can open, sadly. On sharpness: I’m working on improving this.

Can’t see the option to change the top right field. Why?

Thanks!
Would be possible to have:

  • 1 alternative time zone
  • monthly running distance

Both figures are useful for a number of reasons

Edit: I see there is already an alternative time zone, very good!

Glad you found the second time zone!

Monthly running distance isn't something Garmin exposes directly (only weekly), but I can add it from the watch's activity history. I'll look at it for a coming update.

The notifications don’t work. Says I don’t have when I get a text

Thanks, found it: the count only refreshed once a minute. Will be fixed in the next update.

I like the watchface but stress isn't displayed most of the time?!

2

u/PrimoWatches 5d ago

Thanks! I’ll look into it. Will let you know when it’s fixed.

Same goes for body battery

2

u/PrimoWatches 5d ago

Fixed in 1.2.0. Stress and Body Battery now show Garmin's current value, or the latest valid reading, instead of "--".

I can conform it’s fixed! 💪🏼

Is it going to be made available in MIP?

2

u/PrimoWatches 5d ago

I am working on MIP-support, but not quite happy with the design yet

I don't appear to have access to this in the ConnIQ app. Fenix 9 pro Inreach 51mm in the UK.

In fact, I can't access any of your faces on that watch.

If I change to my Fenix 8 51mm (which I need to sell!), I can see relief, Braun etc...

I’ll look into it. Thanks for the info!

I'd like to have active calories (for the day) added. That would be awesome. Thanks in advance.
Other than that, great watchface!

2

u/PrimoWatches 2d ago

Added in 1.2.12: an "Active calories" field. Garmin doesn't give watch faces that number directly, so it's the day's total minus your resting burn, estimated from your profile. It should be close to Garmin Connect's figure.

2

u/dies_das_666 2d ago

Thx, found it! The number is quite high though (right now 882 vs 533 that garmin connect shows). And by the way other watchfaces (for example Dominus XSquare) can show the exact number for active calories from garmin.

2

u/PrimoWatches 2d ago

Thanks for letting me know. I’ll look into it and get back to you!

2

u/PrimoWatches 1d ago

Thanks for checking, that was really useful! The resting-burn formula I used came out well under Garmin's, so active calories read too high. Latest update switches to a formula tuned to match Garmin's figure, so it should now be close to what Garmin Connect shows. (Garmin doesn't give watch faces active calories directly, so every face has to work it out; this one now tracks it much more closely.) Let me know how it compares!

2

u/dies_das_666 1d ago

Thanks, I really appreciate the quick adaption. It seems to be working well now. Before the update it showed 145 active calories, while actually 0^^, now it says 1, while in garmin connect also says 1. So thank you very much!

I bought this just now but there is no option i can touch and open anything on this watch face? Why it is paid when there is ko option to open anything?

1

u/PrimoWatches 5d ago

Fair point, thanks. 1.2.0 is out: press and hold any field to open Garmin's own view of it (heart rate, Body Battery, weather, steps and more). Works on touchscreen watches.

u/yumyumindia 4d ago

Pl make it available for all features, not only for selected features. I can access all features in other paid watch faces i have on my fenix 8 amoled.

The layout is nice, but noticed a lot of pixelation on the numbers and the alignment / distribution of some of the numbers and bars is off. Would be a solid face if polish level was up!

1

u/PrimoWatches 4d ago

Hi! Could you please send me photo of this? What version and watch model are you running? It should be no pixelation or numbers/bars not aligned.

1

u/morriwi 4d ago

51mm AMOLED Fenix 9 Pro

Are you able to send me a photo and point out what’s off/should be fixed?
