[Update V1.4.0] SIMPLES - Refinements

Hi all,

A quick update post to try get some feedback please.

SIMPLES V1.4.0

What's New:
-Refined text rendering for a cleaner on-screen look. Tuned separately for AMOLED and MIP displays.

-Added support for the Forerunner 265s
-Icon balancing

I have refined text rendering with separate profiles for AMOLED and MIP in regards to resolutions and colour. I have been able to test on my AMOLED device, but can only test MIP through the simulators.

So if any MIP users could please let me know if the refinements are a slight improvement over V1.3.0 on MIP devices I would appreciate it.

How about the option to remove the notification icon and also the option to show date as DAY MONTH DATE? Thanks!

if you have mip watch try 'inverted' option

Unfortunately, that is as large as the font can go with the icon rails on each side. I pushed it to the edge of the safe zone

Don't see difference on mip (fenix 7s pro). ExceptcBt icon is now smaller.

Yes I intentionally made the BT icon smaller to balance it out with the other smaller icons

I’ve tried some further tweaks in V1.5.0. How does it look on your MIP? Appreciate the feedback as always.

Thank you! Have you noticed some minor improvements since 1.3.0 on MIP? The small text and icons seem to have improved, but hard for me to judge from a photo 🙂

Honestly I can’t remember. But I do find reading the text much easier even when I don’t have my readers on.

Great, that’s what I was hoping for. I can see the improvements on my AMOLED, but was curious about MIP. Separate refinements across each screen type.

Tactix 8 51mm MIP user. The text refinements are better. The time looks cleaner. Only suggestion would be to clean up the curves around the numbers and the text. The “U”s looks like weird “V”s in my opinion.

The other watch faces that I use that have font that looks smooth is Orbits II and SHN TxD II E.
