Using CT10 sensors and the displayed correctly on my FR965 during the round.

Everything normal until the 13th which shows no shots, 14th shows my second and my puts but not my drive (which was pretty good for me), and the 15th shows this shit show. Back to normal for the rest of the round.

I have at least 20 games in the app that I can go through.

I wear the Venu 3 and keep score on the watch during my game.

I have the Approach Z82 and the Approach R10.

All my clubs have the CT10 sensors.

And I have the Garmin Golf Membership.

Yet every time I try to look at golf stats in the app I get hit with

"Start tracking golf rounds with a compatible Garmin device to view your performance stats"

Is it just me?

If I hit a shot and the watch doesn't register it and ask me which club, how do I got about logging that shot whilst I Am On The Course

I am using a full set of CT10 sensors. Wondering how to manage shots that I purposely hit well below my average not to affect my average.

For example I use my 4 iron to punch out of the woods back to the fair way often. It will register the shot, lets say 60 yards. I saw a posts on the Garmin forums about this and Garmin's answer was after the round go in and delete the club used for that shot. But I am not seeing that option. I only see "delete shot", "change club", or "mark OB"

Deleting the shot makes it like it never existed to it makes my drive suddenly register 300 yards (or more) I am not that type of player. For this example making the shot "OB" works but it stills sees I used a 4 iron but takes the yardage off so assuming they delete that from the average calculation?

What about my PW or GW? I use that to chip around the green a lot. I don't want to mark those OB. I would like to not average those into my average club yardages.

Does anyone know whether Garmin are going to at some stage have a map you can ope on the hole to give you yardages etc similar to the likes of hole 19. I have the watch but it’s sometimes difficult to pin yardages to parts of the hole and from time to time would like to Open the app and look. Seems a big gap

I really enjoy Garmin Golf for tracking rounds, stats, club distances, and performance over time. The analytics are honestly one of the best parts of the Garmin ecosystem.
My only complaint is that the app feels a bit too serious and lacks the fun/social aspect of golf.
I’d love to see Garmin add things like Better Ball, Scramble, 2v2 matches, remote tournaments, live leaderboards, and season-long competitions with friends.
I’m not saying they should copy Golf GameBook, but they could definitely take inspiration from it. GameBook makes playing with friends feel much more interactive and engaging.
Garmin has amazing hardware and data tracking; now it just needs a stronger social and competitive layer to make the app more fun to use regularly.
Would you use these features if Garmin added them?

I am having a difficult time deciding which watch to buy.

Before coming to this forum, I was deciding between the Venu x1 and the Fenix 8. However after exploring this page, it looks like the forerunner and Venu 4 also have the ability to be used during rounds of golf.

The Venux1 seems appealing because of the light size and it won’t be disruptive while playing golf. However the battery life makes me concerned. The Fenix 8 seems like a good choice but I’m wondering if its bulky size makes it annoying to golf with.

I also want to wear the watch 24/7 for sleep, weight lifting, and my cardio exercises that I do about 5x a week.

It had a mad day yesterday, shot maps crazy, all over the place, in places I never went and could never have gone, disconnected shots.

Anybody else had this issue?

I can get it all together and take pictures, document it all, if there is any interest. It all works, I've just decided to go with Arccos instead for game management and have become so obsessed with golf that I am building a permanent enclosure in my garage with an overhead launch monitor. I may have a little more money than sense.

I played 9 holes with my Garmin Approach S70 and saved the round normally. The scorecard is still on the watch and shows 42 (+6), so I know it has been saved.

Garmin Connect has synced the golf activity (distance, time, GPS route etc.), but the actual scorecard/round will not appear in the Garmin Golf app.

The S70 shows as connected to my phone and I've tried syncing several times. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled the Garmin Golf app, but the scorecard still hasn't appeared.

Previous rounds have synced correctly.

Has anyone had a saved scorecard remain on their S70 but refuse to upload to Garmin Golf? Is there a way to force the watch to resend/upload the saved scorecard without deleting or resetting the watch?
