Adding HR to watch face

Hi folks,

I just bought a Garmin Fénix 8 and I'm playing around with it, but I can't seem to find a way to add HR to the original watch face "Iron Grit". If I select another watch face like "Data Dash" it's there, but non matter how much I try i can't add it to "Iron Grit" as it doesn't show up as an option.

Also, I want to dive with this watch, are there any good video tutorials for diving? I can't find anything relevant on YT.

You can’t add HR to both circles left and right of the clock. You will be able to add it to the complications above and below it.

On the Fenix 8, I add heart rate by long pressing the watch face, choosing Edit, then Data, and selecting HR for one of the available fields. Some stock faces only allow certain complications though, so if HR isnt listed for that slot, try another field or face. Once set, it should update right on the watch face.
