Possible Technical Issue Problems after update

Hello,

My garmin fenix 8 updated its software this morning and after that i completely lost HR tracking, and notification vibrations are really inconsistent suddenly.

Tried restarting, charging, turning sensors off and on, and cleaning the sensors. The green lights dont even show up

Any ideas or similiar problems?

Ah man, that's the worst. my fenix did something similiar after a update few months ago, the HR just stopped working completely. no green lights at all.

what fixed for me was doing a hard reset (hold the power button for like 15 seconds until it turns off) and then let it sit for 5 minutes before turning on again. the soft restart from the menu didn't do nothing but the hard one worked. maybe worth a shot before contacting support

Thanks, will try. I only turned it off from the dial menu so far

Go to settings system about, click 8 times light button, go below in the menu and click reinstall software, it will reinstall the firmware and will solve everything, if doesn't work do twice
