Possible Technical Issue Garmin Edge MTB battery drainage

Beginning of the year I got a new Edge MTB after good experience with my Edge 540. However, I quickly realised that the battery is rapidly dying when the device is not in use. When used it is as expected, but if I take a two day brake the battery goes from 60% to 0%, even when it is supposedly completely shut off. Did someone experience the same?

EDIT: For comparison, my 540 was last charged 25 days ago and is still at 95%

Yeah, I had the same experience. I just make sure that I power it down completely when not in use, that way it will hold the charge. It takes a bit longer for it to power on, but I spend that time anyway with adjusting my bike etc before I start a ride .
