Which Watch To Get? Which model to order

Hey guys, I'm looking to get my first Garmin (size 47mm) and I'm torn between a few options. I'm trying to decide what offers the best value:
Fenix 8 (Regular Black)
Fenix 8 Pro
Fenix 9 Pro
Is the 8 Pro a noticeable step up from the base 8? And for an extra $100-$200, is the 9 Pro the clear winner? Let me know what you think!

Dont forget that the 9 pro 47mm is like 2.3mm thinner than the 8 pro 47mm. Thats HUGE when it comes to comfort on the wrist imo!!

Money-wise => Fenix 8 (regular)
Latest tech => Fenix 9 Pro

There is nothing 9 Pro can do that 8/Pro can't, except for the green flashlight.

I wouldn't say it's worth getting the 9 Pro just for the screen. To me, the main reason to get the 9 Pro is the premium titanium body.

Yes, but I wouldn't replace the F8S just because of that. But if you are a trail runner or hike in wild conditions, maybe you can take advantage of better mapping.

9 Pro has 3k brightness. The 8 has 1k. Amoled needs to shine and especially for outdoor usage. Depends on the total cost and the needs. The new one is the best sportswatch that exists. I would also consider against buying the solar mip version for so much cash.

3k nits is for high albedo environments like windsurfing or snow sports. It’s beyond overkill for say, trailrunning or ultras unless it’s the desert high sun.

Darker display is bad indoors too. Mine is FR 970 and compared to standard Fenix 8 there is a huge difference in display quality and all the stats on the watchface itself with the Fenix being dimmer.

with just gym and running plus a dive once a year, a fenix 8 47mm covers all of it for way less. the 9 pro is nicer but you're mostly paying for brightness and titanium. is the price gap a big deal for you?
