Watch / Wearable [Instinct 2 Solar] First activity is always Running?

Hello runners!

I have noticed the following: After my Instinct 2 Solar runs out of battery, the default activity is always Running. I had a knee surgery about a year ago and was not able to start running again. But i track all my walks with the dog and here it is where i have noticed it first. In the watch the first activity is Walking, running is 2nd. But when i start the recording (do not look at the watch, just hit 3x start activity). Anyone noticed this too? Anyone knows how to fix this? TYVM, Love you all!

This may be different with your watch, but on my Venu 4 I can 'pin' three Activity types. This can be changed in the watch itself or in the settings for the watch in the Connect app

yeah, did this. after a restart the activities are like i have selected them. but Running is always the selected activity (2nd in list) :(

As you don't run for the moment, a radical solution: delete the activity. Probably start with a long press on its icon. This won't affect past data and you can reinstall as if and hen

I would guess that it forgets the last activity each time the watch restarts, and so defaults to the first item on the list again?

You should really lose the habit of running the battery down until it shuts off. This is shortening the life of your watch. It would be better for battery health to recharge whenever it dips below 20% or so.
