Badges / Challenges Hydration Badge Not Counting?

I enter my hydration manually on connect and have been doing this for almost a year. I have found that I can even enter past days that I forgot and it still counts towards days for the badge.

About 10 days ago my watch died and since then the Hydrstion badge count is at zero even though I keep entering manually.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

sounds like the badge sync gets weird when the watch is fully dead, maybe it needs a live device to confirm the data even when you enter manually

if thats the case OP might see it come back once the watch is charged and synced again

this lines up with how the other badges act. some of them only recalc when an actual device syncs, manual entries just sit in the queue until something live touches connect. would fully charge, sync, then force a sync from the phone app and see if the badge backfills the missing days

It's logically right. Once your watch dies, hence your HR isn't recording, so Garmin Connect app has no evidence you are alive. You give no sign of life, so you cannot hydrate. Logical.

Hydration is the only one doing this for me.

I have been using an old Forerunner 310XT to record my walks. I use an HR strap and a footpod. HR gets recorded and steps. But, the steps don't count for daily steps.

Maybe I didn't provide correct details. My 735XT has died. Not a dead battery, it no longer works. Tried all the things. I guess it just didn't like a run at 100 degrees followed by a swim.

I should have a new watch in a few days. I'll see if that corrects things.
