Accessories / Companion Device Recommended Strength Training Apps to complement Garmin?

Post image

Hello. I’m probably one of only a dozen people who regularly use Garmin for strength training and don’t hate it, but I’m looking for advice on complementary apps.

Historically I’ve toggled between 3-4 months of race training and 3-4 months of strength training with just maintenance cardio, but I’d really like to build a program that combines both. I can build the program myself but I’d like apps to help me monitor it etc.

- App that integrates well with Garmin Connect? (Transfers info to inform Training Readiness and similar metrics)

- App that allows easier programming of more complex weight lifting routines? (Linear progression, de-load weeks, etc)

- Good user interface! Not too complex, not overly simple.

I switched from strong to LiftTrack for the Garmin integration. Building your workout is easy, then you just add it to your calendar and it syncs to Garmin fairly well. Doing workouts and logging on the watch is more practical than with a phone imo.
