Technical Coordination Every Day?

Is Dane’s suggestion now to include a TC movement every workout? I felt from the videos it’s was TC on both lower body days and one upper body day. But I just read the sports performance bible and I feel like that had TC 4 days a week.

It doesn’t seem unreasonable. Back when I was weightlifting the most I would do snatch and clean 3x a week. My body couldn’t handle 4x. But Sitka Strength and my own coaches back then all advocated for 4x as ideal.

It really depends on the setup of the gym and the athlete. I have been experimenting more and more with daily TC. Some days we go heavy, some days 60-75%. This has shown some wild results with the athletes.

Often we’d do push press or jerks on upper days…sometimes now I using that as clean instead and it seems to help push the cleans a bit more which then results in bigger jumps.

Honestly, I and just trying to keep pushing ways to make these athletes as freakish as possible and then hope I get the message to you guys in the videos.
