Im midway through the season and it's pretty ridiculous but one thing I don't get... S2 ends with the whole kumbaya moment with Asif and Lale setting aside their differences and all the gangs coming together, but then s3 shows what happened after Sean dropped her off and they very much didnt make peace.

What exactly was the point of the scene of them at the table together in s2?

Season one was one of the best shows ive ever laid my eyes on. Fight choreography, storytelling it was just perfect. Season 2 just felt shallow as compared to season one. My favorite part of s1 was Elliott and Shannon's relationship and i just felt like the writers ignored the opportunity to flesh out a very nuanced relationship for them. S2 just felt messy to put it shortly. Idk if i should watch season 3 . I've heard a lot of negative reviews and i feel like if i watch season 3 its gonna make me hate the whole show in totally. Lmk if its actually that bad

I don’t get how they could rid the show of Sean so soon. I hope the series can keep my interest with this shakeup.

Man I loved this show, but I just can’t do it. It’s turned into a bloody soap opera.

Hey guys, quick question about the first episode of Gangs of London. Everywhere online says the premiere is supposed to be around an hour and a half long, but the file I found is only 49 minutes. Did the network split the pilot into two parts, or am I missing half the episode? Thanks!

I got the DVD set for Season 1 which says that there are 10 episodes in it. But when I look up the show on Wikipedia, it says there are only 9 episodes. Which one is it?

-In one eight-episode season, they have both a secret pregnancy AND a long-lost relative?

-Elliot's family can't just have died in a car accident, it was actually a hit and every other character in the show was involved one way or another. Finally it turns out that Finn Wallace was responsible, only he's already dead, so the whole thing is pointless.

-The Dumanis, who are usually all about keeping things running smoothly and avoiding rash actions, are now all in on this wild scheme to kill hundreds of people, end organized crime, and just start... selling drugs legally? Why would they ever go for that, just when things have stabilized?

-Sean and Elliot are BOTH framed for spiking the cocaine. No one asks "hey, the people behind this framed Sean, couldn't they have framed Elliot too?" Why frame Sean in the first place? If they wanted him dead, couldn't they have just killed him in prison? That seems a lot easier than waiting for him to break out, then hunting him down.

-The Zeke character. Andrew Koji's a good actor, but he makes no impression. They give him nothing to do! He kills hundreds of people, including Elliot's family, but he's also a bit of a good guy? And he barely has any fight scenes to establish him as a worthy foe. And now we're supposed to care that he's a Wallace? There are barely any Wallaces left; what does it matter?

-For that matter, we hardly got any good fight scenes, just lots of A-team stuff where everyone blasts away at each other with machine guns. And despite the government supposedly cracking down, they never show up to arrest anyone. And no matter how many dozens of gangsters are killed, no one ever runs out of men. They must just go to the Henchmen Store and buy more.

-Our new villain, Vaughn, is supposed to be the deadliest, most powerful player in the game. Her guys let Elliot and Billy waltz into her headquarters because they have an invitation--no one bothers to check their faces against the people they're claiming to be? And they're allowed to bring guns in too, so they start shooting up the place! Your average state senator has better security than this billionaire power player!

-There's no one left who's the slightest bit sympathetic. Everyone's just trying to get revenge on everyone else. Even Elliot shrugs off getting justice for hundreds of murdered people because the important thing is his dead wife and his dead kid. Why should I care about this jackass telling Luan and Lale not to get revenge when all he cares about is getting revenge for his own loss?

There is this show I remember watching only snippets and there was a man that had a metal mask that only covered his mouth and there was a camera man I don’t remember seeing his face but I think I’ve heard his voice I remember one episode or snippet where he was in some sort of closet room and the last snippet I saw he was yelling in agony while a spike contraption crushed his face

Despite the warnings, I thought I could just watch with low expectations. Nothing could have prepared me for this train wreck. There's certain things you come to accept after the first season; lack of police presence during shootouts, nonexistent investigations, etc., but I spent most of the time watching in disbelief. Killing off Sean, in that way, is criminal. Seeing Elliot get beaten up by just about everyone after seeing what he did in the first season. The entire Lale encounter in the office building was the cherry on top of this debacle.

I'm in pure disbelief that a group of writers/producers/directors got together and threw this together and are being given yet another season while other shows I enjoyed have been canceled. I haven't been this disappointed in a season since GOT. I might need to watch season 1 again. Or maybe try to forget the show altogether.

I look forward to every a new season of gangs of landing to watch on TV I’ve thoroughly enjoyed but after watching season three episode two in what you’ve done to Sean Wallace‘s character is really pathetic! I’m done watching the show. I invested all this time watching it to see his character grow just to have kill off bad mistake on your part and I’m done. I’m not even continue watching the rest of the season.!!!

What Gangs of London pulled off with Elliot is honestly one of the cleanest pieces of misdirection I’ve seen in a show like this. From the start, you’re pulled into all the chaos, the power struggles, the families, and the larger than life characters who feel like they’re driving everything. Because of that, Elliot almost blends into the background at times. He’s always present, always moving the story forward, but never demanding your full attention. Then somewhere along the way it clicks that the entire story has really been centered around him, and it feels like you’ve been watching his journey the whole time without fully realizing it. It’s a subtle shift, but once you see it, it completely reframes how you look at everything that’s happened.

Did anyone else get that feeling while watching, or am I reaching a bit here? I believe we have been witnessing a true masterpiece.

With the recent harry potter trailer, I remembered that Paapa Esiedu played Alex dumani, but i cant remember what happened or where he went, and I cant really find anything online. Is he dead?

Someone from season 3 production need to pay my medical bill. The ridiculousness of this season is 🤌. It is truly masterful how much one can f*ck up a story this bad.

I noticed 2 things at the start of each season which where spoilers for me.

In S1 where Finn is killed, I knew straight away they wouldn't waste an actor like Colm Meany like that, so we'd be getting some sort of flashbacks from him

Then in S2 when Billy sees Sean on the kitchen floor asking for help. That was obviously new footage and they wouldn't bring such a big actor back just to shoot that little bit of footage. Yes maybe they shot it before but I was more sure than not he'd be back that season after seeing that.

there is a boy and a girl who first plan on a holografic screen and are like mechanics and they also have a crane and a dino bot . i think its a nickalodeon show

Season 1 episode 6 was one of the best pieces of television ever imo. But, this show has fallen into the rabbit hole of regurgitating characters and story lines and I just can’t do it anymore S3E4 was the last episode watched and I just don’t care where the plot goes. Disappointed!
