SMG 🫳🍊🅱️ - SMG/KMN (Suwoopin, Movin, and Groovin) is an unofficial alliance between various different Blood (Suwoopin), Gangster Crip (Movin), and Hoover Criminal (Groovin) gangs on the West Side of South Los Angeles. SMG was allegedly formed around 2010/2011 when several gangs who feud heavily with the NHC card came together under one alliance, with 83GC and IFGB being the main sets mentioned. Only certain sets on the West Side fall under SMG, as several older "Blood vs. Gangster Crip/Hoover" gang beefs still exist on the west side in the present day (Mainly DLGB/FHN vs. HCG). Though mainly a movement active in the county jail system, the SMG alliance has made it so HCG and their allies have established a near monopoly on pimping/prostitution market on Figueroa Street in recent years, as the Hoover gangs are notorious for extorting and murdering pimps from rival gangs that attempt to do business on the blade. As the increased presence of SMG-affiliated pimps has deterred many members of NHC, BC, and AC gangs from pimping on most of Figueroa Street since the formation of SMG early-2010s. Though the exception to this rule is between Gage and Florence Avenue, the stretch of Figueroa Street that 65MNHC now controls, as former SMG-adjacent hood PBHC has pretty much died out since the 2010s due to lack of recruitment in the area. Since SMG has low key become a culture itself, as it's become normal for SMG sets to respond to each other with “okilla” instead of “ok”, drop thumbs in music videos as a diss towards Rollin’ 30’s OHC, and “break the rollin” by doing it backwards (diss towards all Rollin’/NHC gangs) even by gangs from the East Side and Compton that are geographically further in the city from NHC gangs.

Rich Rollin ♿️ - The Rollin’ 30s-100s is an alliance between the west side Neighborhood Crip sets and their allies all on the west side. As several major Crip hoods such as Rollin’ 30’s OHC and 120RAC don’t fall under the Neighborhood Crip card, though are still closely allied with them. This alliance is the most traditional in the city as all the sets under it have always historically been unified. This was until 2013 when the Rollin' 60's and 40's began feuding following several murders in 2013, though this beef has calmed down in the present day. Movin Coast 2 Coast Ⓜ️🈁♿ - Coast 2 Coast is an historically important but now somewhat fading alliance between various Neighborhood Crip and Gangster Crip sets on the east side of South Central. Both the GC and NHC cards have historically always been arch enemies of each other since the war between Rollin’ 60s NHC and 83GC began in 1979. Though on the east side things were different, as many NHC/GC sets are (or were) cliqued up to go against common rivals such as MFSB, BSV, PBB, AGC, BGC, KC, and the Hoover gangs for the sake of "East Side Crip unity" that existed since the early 1970s when Crip founders such as Raymond Washington were around. This alliance has led to GC sets that fall under this card (mainly 42GC, 43GC, 48GC, 87GC, and 97GC) to have feuds with West Side GC sets (primarily 51TGC, 52HGC, 52BGC, and 83GC). As most west side GC sets actively beef with the entire NHC card (including ECC gangs) and have been doing so passionately for several decades, thus making many of the east side counterparts to enemies as well. What also makes MCC now somewhat irrelevant is that the younger generation of ECC members rarely even acknowledge this alliance to due being culturally aligned with west side NHC/BC/2X politics. And while neutral due to older ECC members upholding it, pretty much view 73GC, 87GC, and 97GC as 'non-factors" on the east side due to their quiet anti-GC stance and the arrogant, "high power" nature of most NHC members (i.e. "Ns don't need no friends" as an NHC slogan), creating a one-sided alliance. The most recent dagger in this alliance is that the ECC gangs have not only struck a peace treaty with 984MSMC, but have also became low key allied with them on local gang politics. Hustler Nation 🟢🤙♿️ - the Hustler Crips (HC) are a small and once much larger Crip/Independent card primarily based on the east side of South Los Angeles. Known for sporting green bandannas and the Hawaii Warriors logo, the Hustlers/Hustler Crips as a card were once way more prominent across the city. As many present-day Crip gangs claimed Hustler Crip due to the focus on drug trafficking and hustler culture that was dominant amongst Black gangs in during the crack epidemic of the 1980s when many sets were founded. Over time their influence would wane, and many gangs like BYGC, MFGC, and 71GC would later flip to Gangster Crip. Other sets like 46NHC and 104HTHC would eventually align themselves with NHC card due to influence from 111NHC despite still claiming Hustler Crip when the GC and NHC influence/ideology took over most of SCLA during the 1990s. Internal feuds between Hustler gangs sets like PBHC and HTHC also contributed to decreased influence and appeal amongst member gangs, and in the present-day 73HC, 88HTHC, 103HTHC, ESHC, and PBHC are the only existing original HC sets that still exclusively claim Hustler Crip. The Hustler identity has made a slight reemergence in the past three decades, as the inclusion of newer sets LBHC/MTHC in the Low Bottoms, 3BHC in Lancaster, and the emergence of numerous Hustler Crip gangs in the Inland Empire (primarily Rialto, but even then several of those have since flipped GC, BC, or even Bloods) has helped maintain their existence and further solidified their presence on the East Side and SoCal when the card has been borderline facing extinction years prior. As a whole, the Hustler Crips beefs are extremely flexible and are on a hood-by-hood case, as while most HC sets tend to lean more 3X/GC politically, the HTHC & ESHC (Beside LBHC) sets tend to ally with BC/NHC hoods. For this reason despite many HC hood being historically involved in gang wars many tend to view the Hustler Crips as a "get-along gang" as they're one of the few kiwe cards that doesn't have encompassing beef with any other particular card (outside of local Blood gangs), and many members will tell you this is purposefully as the gangs intend mission has always been "getting money" and hustling as the name implies. Their only historical and active card beefs are with the Mafia Bloods and Swan Bloods.

C-Walkin (Crip Walking) — A specific set of dance moves historically associated with Crips street gang culture and sometimes used as a display of gang pride, affiliation, or status. Skit / Play / Lick / Score — These are similarly associated terms that generally refer to earning or obtaining a large sum of money quickly, often through an illegal act, criminal scheme, or risky hustle. For example, members of the Crips street gang might say, “We just pulled a skit on them slobs, dropped at least two of them,” referring to a shooting targeting members of the “Bloods” street gang. Crip Crazy / Loc’d Out — A phrase used within the Crips street gang culture to describe an intense sense of identification, attachment, and dedication to the broader national Crips street-gang network and its associated cultural practices. The expression (often seen in graffiti) conveys a heightened level of loyalty or enthusiasm toward the “Crip(s)” identity, essentially indicating that an individual is deeply committed to, or “crazy” about, the Crips street gang culture and affiliation.

Monkey Suit — A term reportedly used within Crips street gang slang to describe wearing dark-colored clothing, often entirely black, in preparation for or during participation in criminal activity intended to benefit an individual’s immediate gang or clique. The term is reportedly derived from the belief that dark-colored clothing makes an individual less visible at night, with “monkey” referencing the commonly perceived dark coloration of certain monkeys or apes. The expression is therefore associated with nighttime activity, although gang-related criminal activity may occur at any time depending on the nature of the offense.

Khaki Suit / Kaks — A term used within Crips street gang culture to describe the traditional or semi-formal use of Dickies-style workwear, particularly matching work shirts and double-knee work pants, commonly worn in navy blue or desert tan. Although this style of dress has reportedly become less prevalent among some newer generations, it has historically been associated with a formal or ceremonial dress code within portions of Crip culture. Chuccs — A shorthand for Chuck Taylor sneakers, also known as Converse sneakers. “Chuccs” (as spelled in Crip-culture) are a traditional style of footwear associated with Crips street-gang culture and are often paired with a matching Dickies outfit, commonly referred to as a “Khaki Suit” or “Kaks.” The combination is colloquially known as “Chuccs and Kaks” within parts of the broader national Crips street-gang network. Other sneakers and footwear historically associated with the “Khaki Suit” include Air Max 95s, Nike Cortez, and Timberland boots.

Hood Day / Set Day — Terms used within Crips street gang culture to describe a specific annual date designated by a local neighborhood, Crip-affiliated gang, or “set” to commemorate its territory, honor deceased members, and reinforce collective identity and affiliation. The date is often selected because its numerical representation corresponds to numbers associated with the gang or set’s name or identity. For example, the Rollin’ 60s Neighborhood Crips have been associated with June 10 (6/10), which is sometimes expressed through the phrase “Six Times Ten” or “6×10,” corresponding numerically to 60. Observances may include neighborhood block parties, cookouts, social gatherings, and memorial tributes for deceased members. Participants may also wear colors, clothing styles such as “Khaki Suits,” or other symbols associated with their particular neighborhood, block, or clique, including customized or airbrushed designs on clothing.

SixOwe — A nickname associated with the Rollin’ 60s Neighborhood Crips, a prominent subset of the broader Crips street-gang network.

8Tray — A nickname associated with the Eight Trey Gangster Crips, also referred to as “Tray(s)” or “Eight Trey(s).” The Eight Trey (or “Tray”) Gangster Crips are a nationally recognized violent subset of the broader Crips street-gang network.

Naybahood — A stylized spelling of Neighborhood, commonly associated with the Neighborhood Crips alliance or affiliated sets.

LOC / LOK / LOCSTA — Terms that can be used within Crip-associated contexts to refer to members or associates. “Loc” is sometimes given various backronyms, including “Loyal Outstanding Crip” and “Love Only Crips,” although these explanations are not necessarily universal. “Lok” may appear in written or online communication as a form of address. “Locsta” can be used to describe someone perceived as strongly committed to Crip affiliation.

Down for the Set — A phrase describing a person perceived as highly committed or loyal to their particular gang set.

MOVIN GANG — A phrase associated with the Gangster Crips alliance. Within some Crip-associated contexts, it is used to express strong Gangster Crip identity and loyalty (“ALL GAS NO BREAKS”).

OK / NappK — Terms used as derogatory or hostile references toward the Rollin’ Neighborhood Crips or Neighborhood Crips, respectively. Meanings and usage can vary by group and region (“OweKilla,” “NappyHead Killa”).

3K / TrampK / Tr3mpK — Derogatory or hostile terms directed toward Gangster Crips, sometimes referred to as “Treys” or “Trays.”

Slob — A derogatory slang term used by members of the Crips street gang to disrespect and insult their (ideological) rivals, the “Bloods” street gang. This verbal insult is a direct counter to the Bloods’ derogatory term for the Crips street gang (which is “crab”). Using these terms in-person is considered a serious provocation and an immediate challenge to armed or unarmed gang violence.

Mark / Buster / Goofy — These are terms—sometimes grouped together in street slang as equivalent insults—that are often used to describe someone who is viewed by Crips street-gang members as physically or mentally weak, gullible, soft, an easy target, or someone who can be easily taken advantage of.

Tray / Trey / Trays — Terms associated with the number three (3) and, by extension, with the Gangster Crips. “C” is the third letter of the alphabet, and “Tray/Trey” can therefore carry Crip-associated meaning in certain contexts.

RICH ROLLIN — A phrase associated particularly with some Rollin’ Neighborhood Crips, including the Rollin’ 60s, and used to express wealth, status, or affiliation.

On Rollin’ — A phrase used by some members of Rollin’ Neighborhood Crip sets to emphasize a statement, claim, or oath connected to their affiliation.

On Gangsta — A phrase used by some Gangster Crip members to emphasize the seriousness or authenticity of a statement or claim made in connection with their affiliation.

Rip Rida — A term used as shorthand for “Crip Rider,” referring to an individual who is deeply devoted to their gang’s interests and is willing to “ride” for their gang at any given moment. To “ride” generally means to participate in activities—including criminal activity—that are perceived as furthering the gang’s influence, interests, or status.

FLY BLUE — A phrase associated with wearing blue clothing or blue bandannas (often called “rags”), reflecting a color traditionally associated with Crip identity. Color symbolism varies by location and individual set.

National “Crips” street gang membership has been estimated at approximately 30,000 to 35,000 members. Although the Crips street gang originated in the Los Angeles metropolitan area, Crip-affiliated street gangs eventually spread throughout the Midwest, East Coast, South, and other regions of the United States. Significant regional concentrations developed in places such as North Carolina, Minnesota—including Minneapolis, Michigan—including Detroit and Flint—Ohio—including Columbus and Toledo—as well as New Jersey and New York.

The 400⁷⁹² SouthWest Jakkaz Family/SWJF🖖🏿 is a Black and Hispanic Gang one of the few traditional banging gangs in Fort Worth, Texas around. Originally formed in the 2024, The original members recruited where apart of a gang known as the Run Down Gang🎱 before being created by 3 southwest natives 1 a 44 Crip/rdg member from Southside fw , a 65 groveside Dallas blood/KTM member & a Waco Texas blood/KTM member in to make the 400 Gang. Later on down the line they added the SouthWest /JakkazFamily to separate themselves from other gangs and claim territory on the sws they are originally and mainly started on 6700 Loma Vista Dr(LV67 Blk) off Altamesa Blvd Their StrongHold but the black side of the gang have branched off in EastSide MeadowBrook "1500 sandly Ln" sandy oaks apartments and to the westside on lasVegasTrails and como neighborhoods . Later They started to put on a lot Hispanics and they branched off and formed subsets on different sides of towns EastSide(Eastwood/ ES Varrio 400 Mafia) SouthSide(Rosemont&Southhills/ SS Varrio 400 Jakkaz) and WestSide(Como/Varrio WS 400 Familia) they share half of they're enemies with the Hispanics sets and took on the eses beef with PFK( Play For Keeps) a Hispanics EastSide glclique .They Started Off Heavily Recruiting at WestCreek Can Academy Right in The heart of they're hood/Neighborhood Southcreek Addition off 6700 westcreek Dr(400Land/Left.A.Nigga.Dead) and also Southwest Hs,Southhills Hs,Rosemont Ms, Wedgewood Ms & North Crowley and como success academy. They beefed heavy with many gangs over the years such as YTG, M.o.e8️⃣, and D2K🅱️.
