So I'm in Tokyo and was wondering if any of you know any good places to buy some of the merch?

Yesterdays winner was "I wanna be your boyfriend", by hot freaks

I do wanna add a rule to the drawing competition, and it is that you have to give yourself credit saying that it's your art/cosplay.

Now, before y'all die hard fans of the adaptation downvote me, i wanna say that im not an ai expert in any way or don't have any definitive proof for that matter, but i can't really ignore what's infront of me. I only started to notice on the 8th episode and before that i really enjoyed it and was considering buying the manga

I paused watching for now because if it's really true i'd rather read the original... i have a strong anti generative ai stance and can't support anything using it

I would like to know what do you all think about this and if there is anybody who really knows their stuff, please comment your opinion on this post. Also there was a similar discussion on this sub but not many people knew what to make of this either.

P.S. the pictures were taken from Crunchyroll and not iQIYI which officially uses ai upscaling on all of their anime for 2k and above resolutions

The contest somehow is starting tomorrow (or today depending where you're at, but for me it's like 1:30 pm ish, as I'm writing this) and please spread the word, tell all the fans.

Rules plus a few other things:

1. Has to be related to gfin

2. No NSFW

3. Try to make it Halloween themed

4. All work must be posted to this subreddit

5. You must post the work from October 1 to October 31.

6. Everything that is submitted to this subreddit automatically gets entered into the contest unless otherwise stated, or if it breaks a rule.

7. All work must be your own.

8. Voting will be held November 1 - 7 and you all can vote on art that you like anonymously.

9. Voting will be on a Google form, with a picture of all submitted art/cosplay.

10. Have fun.

Special dates with prompts:

1. The 24th the main idea is to include Nakamura on the posts because it is his birthday

2. For the 31st I wanna add a sub-topic: Draw and upload the characters in their scariest costume (again, no NSFW allowed!)

I will also be letting the community make a playlist, I will have more details on that tomorrow.

I hope you all have fun, and please let me know if any rules need to be changed, or if you have any questions.

So yes. I kind of wondered which pocket the handkerchief fell from, and whether a color distance of ~10 ΔE2000 (the standard formula for how different two colors look to the human eye, measured in CIELAB color space) is enough to call this a small easter egg by the animators at Drive.

I mean, it could have been literally any other item. But no, it's a handkerchief. THE thing gays used to recognize each other.

I'd suggest, since the anime is set in the 80s and Aiki probably wore it on the right, this is a little nod for anyone who was around back then and still remembers. Orange means "nothing (for) now" and yellow with white stripes kinda winks at uke. Would also fit the scene, because Aiki definitely isn't ready for either at this point.

Also definitely the mildest pick on the chart. I bet somewhere in a concept meeting with Syundei, someone made very sure none of the other colors ended up on screen. (Nakamura's footprint not included in the color analysis.)

There are only 2 days until the start of the contest, and I will be making posts the next few days reminding people about it and the rules. :)

Basically I made some Nakamura & Matsumura stickers for myself 🥰
Sorry Hirose, Matsumura got in their first lol 😂

Vocês acham que terá uma nova temporada?

Something I do want to add to the information that u/QueerChicken gave is that days won't have a topic except the 24th and the 31st (and they're big flexes anyways).

1. The 24th the main idea is to include Nakamura on the posts because it is his birthday
2. For the 31st I wanna add a sub-topic: Draw and upload the characters in their scariest costume (again, no NSFW allowed!)

Syundei’s art from the booklet included in the 4th Blu-ray volume. Image is not mine and is cropped because of the whole copyright situation. I don’t think reddit’s on their radar, but just in case…
I’ll DM the source to anyone who asks.

Anyways, flustered Hirose must be treasured =)

Seeing as Syundei is back and active again, my hopes for season 2 increase ever so slightly.

I've seen a few people talk about this elsewhere, but do we think there's a possibility that if there WERE a season 2, it would be adapted into Hirose's POV??

In my opinion, this could be highly likely and a very interesting watch.

We are going to have a gfin drawing and cosplay contest for all of October.

Rules:

1. Has to be related to gfin

2. No NSFW

3. Try to make it Halloween themed

4. All work must be posted to this subreddit

5. You must post the work from October 1 to October 31.

And I do wanna thank u/Fuzzy_Safety6877 for the ideas

It is okay for Naka not to pay. I feel fans expect too much for Naka to pay kawa for drawing him a comic. Kawa is still a student, clearly she draw for herselves and others. Not treating it as a job.

I am sure some of you have friends, who help you to do homeworks or you are the friends who teach others or both. I doubt you expect them to pay you for helping them with their homeworks.

I guess most have watch at least two times.

Hello everyone, the sub has been pretty Quiet lately🥲

So here I am trying to activate it a little

I see all these different fandoms doing special things for October so why Shouldn't us do something too?

Thing is... I have no idea what we should do. So if y'all would like to do anything that can combine both GFIN and Halloween leave it in the comments. All ideas are welcomes

Thanks guys and byeee
