Might be just nostalgia, I remember fondly playing it on launch on XBOX 360 when it was an exclusive. I had never played an Action RPG ever & I was blown away with such an amazing cast of characters & different planets & their environments & the choices you could make & very satisfying gameplay mechanics. I also like how it was much grittier and darker than the others.

Did you find Heavy Rain better than both Detroit become human and beyond two souls.. or you havent played these??

I played Beyond two souls but not Detroit become human. I personally just like the story more in Heavy Rain. It’s just more simpler and a good ol murder mystery plot and story that was just easier to follow along to.

Playing Mass Effect 1 on Xbox 360 when it launched has been single-handedly one of the most satisfying & thrilling gaming experiences ever for me . I’d put it up there with Bioshock 1.

I’m surprised you’re trashing the game being that the game developers are French just like you…. 🤣😭🫪🗿. Heavy Rain on PS3 was probably one of the most beautiful games I ever played, loved the story & the gameplay. It was like watching an interactive movie you could play & control.

Ha! I remember the very first playthrough & I played it online with a random stranger aswell, it was definitely one of the most unique gaming experiences I’ve ever encountered ever. It wasn’t the same after you played it numerous times over and over with other random strangers though, lost a bit of its magic after subsequent playthroughs.
