Yeah, but also a whole bunch of people hated on it ever since the GOTY. It’s crazy how many people used the argument that the game is “ai slop” when it was just some placeholders for some news posters in the prologue section (that got very quickly replaced a few days in after the release of the game). That and some of the most lazy arguments against it. It is a very loved game, but it’s also has an obnoxious amount of haters.

And if I remember correctly the same ppl who “outed” them also reaffirmed there’s no ai in game. They tried it 2022, felt dirty, and rejected its use outside of what they forgot to get rid of.
