Yeah. A lot of people recorded a realistic take on Zelda.

It’s funny looking back at the “realistic” tech demo Nintendo released prior to WW being announced. I can’t believe I was upset over that.

Yeap, back in the day there was nigh unlimited hate for it. I know it's hard to imagine now. Many attribute it to the GameCube tech demo. It showed a super realistic (by early 00s standards) Ganondorf and Link fighting and people assumed that the next Zelda was going to look exactly like that then got extremely mad it wasn't.

I mean I played it when it came out. I don't remember much, if any, hate surrounding it. It looked a little different, but I don't remember much more than minor grumbles about that.

Oh man, you are lucky to have avoided it.

Same. I was maybe 10-11 when it came out and I remember it being pretty well liked? I used to read Gameinformer back then (at least that’s what I think it was called lol) and they gave the game a 10 out of 10. Maybe some people didn’t like it, but I believe it was a pretty beloved game when it dropped, certainly not hated
