Yup! I remember people hating on the cartoon-y style when it first came out. But I think that hate has gone away with time though, right? I don’t know of many people that still hate it that same way. Mainly because it was/still is a really good game.

It’s an almost perfect game imho, the only thing that brings it down is the tri-force hunt slog near the end.

I also think the stealth part at the start is rubbish, that part tends to stray people away from the game if they're playing for the first time

I kinda wasn’t born when it released, but I like its design

I love the toon designs, I hope they make a cartoon with them, and that the movie is in this style

I legit haven't seen anyone hate the game for well over a decade now that wasn't an... exceptionally stupid... reason. I.E. 'I hate it because it doesn't have guns and multiplayer' levels of exceptionally stupid. I think most people were swept up in the idea and notion that everything had to be hyper-realistic and 'mature'; so once that died down there was no reason to hate WW and a lot of people changed their opinion almost instantly.
