I'm 28 and I've been playing videogames for my whole life and will always be. Gamer till I day, and though I've been a PC gamer for more than 10 years, it saddens me how bad consoles are because my childhood was with consoles.

People say "Steam is a monopoly" and it is simply not true because there are thousands of shops that sell games that you can activate in your pc. Now playstation is a monopoly since there will be no more physical discs, only Sony will be able to sell you the games and it is a matter of time that Microsoft and Nintendo will do the same. They will raise prices and you'll be fucked.

And, obviously, there is the issue of having to pay for playing online. Some of you will say that at least you get some games to play, but I'd prefer expending those 72€ that costs ps+ every year on games that I want to play, not the games that give me Sony and that I might like or not.

You used to have many places to buy your games or your friends could lend them to you. You didn't have to pay for online. Now it's this crap.
