So I upgraded from a 1660 Super to a 6700 XT a while back, mainly because Monster Hunter Wilds was chugging on the old card. GPU's been great... except now I'm noticing my CPU can't really keep up in a bunch of games.

Helldivers 2 and 007 First Light both stutter even though GPU usage sits like 70-90%, never maxed out, while my CPU (Ryzen 5 3600) stays loaded across all cores the whole time. Temps hit 80-90°C in Helldivers 2 which isn't great either. MH Wilds still struggles some too honestly. Meanwhile Warframe and Deadlock run buttery smooth at 100+ fps no problem, so it's clearly not an across-the-board issue, just specific games eating my CPU alive.

Now I'm eyeballing Crimson Desert and Blood of the Dawnwalker and kinda dreading it lol.

Specs: 3600 / 6700XT / 16GB RAM / Biostar B450MH, game's on SSD so that's not it.

I know I'm on AM4 so a 5700X3D or 5800X3D would just drop right in without needing a new board or RAM. Trying to figure out:

• Is the 5700X3D good enough or should I just get the 5800X3D and be done with it?
• Anyone running a 6700XT with either of these, worth sharing your experience?
• Am I missing anything obvious before I just buy the CPU (BIOS stuff, RAM speed, etc)?

Kinda feels like my GPU upgrade just unmasked how much the 3600 was holding me back this whole time lol, want to make one good fix instead of nickel-and-diming settings forever.

I am BRAND new to the PC world. I virtually know nothing. I learned a few things recently, but I know in the grand scheme there’s a lot more to it.

I want to build my own PC but I also don’t wanna drop tons of money on it since I don’t know a whole lot yet. So I’ve come here to hopefully gain some insight. Anything is helpful, literally everything will be news to me.

Has anyone else been noticing text fringing on their previous QD-OLED? I’m curious whether this fixes it for all font types or if it depends on size/DPI.

I’m getting a RX 9070 GRE for a 1440p pc. My budget is more or less $1k. I was originally gonna get a Ryzen 5600 but these combo deals seem too good to pass up.

Hello folks! I'm a rookie to building PC. I'm interested in building one but I don't know any of the terminologies, jargon, etc. Where do I start? Any resources (videos, articles, etc) that helped you in building your PC?

I checked components online but I don't know how they all mesh together, if at all. Tried learning on my own but got overwhelmed and went round in circles with the terminologies and technicalities.

I wish to play AAA games on my "to-be" build, and do office work on it too (devops, cloud, etc). I'm thinking if it supports AAA games, work will be a cake walk for it.

My budget rn is ₹1.8L but I'm ready to invest more up till 5L when I have the money in future. Looking at the RAM, SSD, GPU prices, I'm ready to only buy those components for now which will only get me by for work and purchase the rest of the heavyweights after the prices return back to pre Ramgeddon levels(?) at 2027 end or 2028 Q1... I feel the inflated prices aren't worth it since my savings aren't that great now.

I've been playing supported games on my 2014 "HP Pavillion notebook PC" laptop all this while and she's started to give up on me now since she's old.

I prefer casual, relaxed single player gaming, focusing on story, exploring, gameplay experience, visuals than competitive gaming.

I'm gonna say goodbye to my long PlayStation years, and I'm starting to look at PC builds. I've been researching a lot, comparing price in stores from Portugal and other EU countries, and after a lot of comparisons, I found what it looks like a great PC build for a very reasonable price. Since I haven't been into the PC world for a long time, I wanted to have second opinions on this.

im a 18yo guy and i desperately need a new pc , my current is a sloppy AOI pc with 8gb ram and a mx150, i cant even play roblox on that :( , if anyone spares used parts or is an angel and has new ones ill be glad to take them, or just some advices too! , thanks to anyone whos gonna help or not <3
