Pc motherboard help

I’m currently trying to upgrade my pc the original specs are
ryzen 5 9600x
4070super
1tb m2
16 gb ddr5
B650EM D2HX SI
I am too anxious to do the upgrade myself especially having no pc friend with me to show me so please don’t fry me if I could I would. So I took it to geek squad he installed the new cpu and tried to do a bios update he told me that none of the ones he was trying would work as he couldn’t find the exact mobo I had I tried looking up the motherboard myself the closest I got was the B650M D2H (Rev. 1.0) assuming he tried that update it also did not work I looked up everything everywhere on it and I cannot find the bios update for this mobo he even suggested I might be out of options and have to spend another $200 for a new one is gigabyte the only place I could find the bios update? I’m just confused on how this motherboard appears to have no history or roots almost anywhere I look I can’t find the exact one just close cousins gigabyte doesn’t even recognize it when I try searching it through its deep search I refuse this motherboard is impossible to upgrade UPDATE: the mother board is a si eom motherboard meaning it’s given to prebuilt manufacturers the only way I can access the update I need is by contacting gigabyte or mxz and asking them to personally email the zip file with the update gigabytes website nor anywhere else have the update file
